1. 美国十年一次的人口普查将于明年（2020年）3月中旬以纸质信函方式开始，4月底前不会有工作人员以人口普查的名义登门询问信息；
2. 若您4月底前自主完成该户的人口普查登记（仅需10分钟填写9个简单问题），便不会有人等登门协助；
3.登门协助完成人口普查的职员只可能是联邦人口普查局工作人员，其胸前名牌、编号及照片，在您开门前可即刻上网查询核对；
4.人口普查工作人员登门时，永远不会邀您跨出家门，永远不会问询或索要您的证件编号或银行信息；
5. 若发现违反以上的可疑行为，请随时报警；
6. 美国无 Department of Home Affairs 此部门。
